Sebastian Estevez is a bright, funny, energetic three-year-old who loves sports, cooking, and music. He looks forward to a career as a veterinarian or a chef. Unfortunately, Sebastian suffers from Hunter Syndrome (MPSII), a rare genetic, terminal disease affecting almost exclusively boys. Affected children rarely live past their fifteenth birthdays because the disease damages every system in the body.
Doctors at Nationwide Children's Hospital believe they have developed a cure for this horrible disease, but lack the funding for the clinical trials that would make this available to Sebastian and other children like him. Project Alive is seeking to raise the $2.5M that could make this cure a reality!
